New Book: The Gurus, The Young Man and Elder Paisios

The Gurus, The Young Man and Elder Paisios

A young man searched for the truth, not seeking the dead capital of the intellect alone, but wanted the experiential and unmediated contact with a higher reality if he could find it. He studied Yoga (in the full sense of the word) and meditation, met with magick, occult and spiritual teachers, and studied other contemporary approaches such as the Silva method, until he began to experience real spiritual phenomena. Not all such phenomena was of the same level or even helpful, so he continued to search until he could determine how to discern a path which would be the most transformative in a beneficial way.

He met Elder Paisios of the Holy Mountain, who touched his soul directly and miraculously, and forever removed the idea that Christianity was somehow a lesser or lower path.  Still thinking that he might have found only part of the truth,  he set out for India to be able to compare his experience of Orthodox Eldership with the radical non-dual experiences of living Gurus. He lived in ashrams, sat in satsangs, received shaktipat and other experiences from gurus who manifested incredible power right in front of his eyes.  After having received powerful transmissions, his own observations and conclusions suprised him.
