The Church on the Virtual Town Square is the
St. John the Wonderworker Oratory,
which is a small Orthodox chapel attached to the monastery. [1] There is also a cathedral nearby. If you come in, you may hear the soft chanting of one of the daily services, or you may hear the choir in choir practice [2].
The Orthodox Church is the "One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church", which preserves the Christian faith of the Apostles in both historical succession, and in Apostolic Faith. It is worth learning about:

- Orthodox Christian Publications Online [5]: free downloadable booklets on several topics
- About Orthodox Christianity [6]: from the website of the Orthodox Church in America
- The Watchful Gate [7]: Study Center for Patristic Discernment in Comparative & Contemplative Spirituality. Some good explanations of how Orthodox Christianity is different from and/or similar to other spiritual paths.
