The Virtual Town Square

In most cities you can find at least one lounge that tries to simulate a beach or pool deck that one might find in a relaxed setting such as a pacific or carribean island, tropical port of call or some other such "paradise". The beverages usually involve exotic fruit juices mixed with various rums or tequillas.  Extra points are given if the place has a real pool, or at least waterfalls and ponds. The atmosphere lends itself to slowing down everything, and if you have some real island music playing, so much the better. Sometimes pretending that you are on vacation for a single evening is all you need to make the stress melt away.
