The Virtual Town Square

Technomads are people who blend simplicity and complexity, old and new, freedom and control in suprising ways. There have always been nomads and traveling people, but the range of living and working while traveling has never been as great as it is now, due to a more networked world, and advances in the science and design of nomadic gear.

I was introduced to this realm while watching Steve Roberts build Behemoth in a lab at Sun Microsystems.
