The Virtual Town Square

What town? - it is a metaphor, perhaps many places. Part of a metropolis, a tiny village or a place remote from other places. A metaphor for what? - perhaps for ideas as divergent as a town itself. Or not ideas, but experiences and events. Much will remain undefined, but you could say that it is, an organization of place. Perhaps it is an exercise in the examination of space and its relationship to meaning. But why a town? - in many ways I would prefer a forest, or a desert, or even an island. The town is a place of people and the spaces in which their lives unfold, and the square is the center of it. Maybe thats what this website is - an examination of the centers around which life can unfold. If not life, then at least a bunch of web links.
